About the Role

The Product Manager is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the Product Life Cycle of Safetrust’s core product line, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with product management, engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The ideal candidate is technical, strategic, highly collaborative, and organized and works seamlessly to manage a shifting workload. Candidates should excel at working in a fast-paced environment with products undergoing rapid/continual changes. Attention to detail and the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into tangible benefits and value propositions are crucial to the position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the VP of Product Management to define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Safetrust’s core products.
  • Work with local and overseas hardware and software engineering teams to prioritize and deliver key roadmap deliverables and resolve technical issues and challenges.
  • Review and track manufacturing schedules, proactively identifying and addressing any issues that may arise to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Develop core positioning and messaging for Safetrust’s products, ensuring alignment with market needs and customer pain points.
  • Oversee the planning, delivery, and updates of product releases across multiple teams, ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Act as a product evangelist both internally and externally, effectively communicating Safetrust’s products’ value proposition to stakeholders and customers.
  • Serve as the technical contact point for sales and marketing teams, providing guidance and support on product features, functionality, and technical specifications.
  • Gather insights into customer challenges and pain points through regular customer interactions, data analysis, and collaboration with customer intelligence, support, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Develop and run beta and pilot programs for early-stage products and prototypes, leveraging data and learnings to iterate and improve solutions.
  • Work with product management, sales, and marketing teams to develop pricing, datasheets, and user guides, ensuring a unified and competitive approach.
  • Prioritize and propose strategic initiatives to address customer challenges and capitalize on market opportunities based on competitive intelligence and market trends.
  • Deliver solution proposals with prioritized features and corresponding justification, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success and growth of Safetrust.

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of product management experience required
  • Excellent technical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to keep track of multiple tasks and goals

Ideal candidates will also have:

  • Previous experience in the identity and/or physical security industry, mobile credentials, access readers, Bring Your Own Key (BYOK), Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Near-Field Communication (NFC), One-Time Passwords (OTP), Personal Identity Verification (PIV), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Ultra-Wideband (UWB), Over-the-Air (OTA) management, Wiegand, Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP), Face to Face (F2F), Fast Identity Online (FIDO2)
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required)
